New Balance has looked to the BEAMS and mita sneakers MT580 collaboration from earlier this year with the limited-edition release of a GORE-TEX-equipped duo.
The all-new MT580 “GORE-TEX” is available in both triple black and navy, and draws from the aforementioned collaborative pair for a number of inspirational design elements. Most notably, New Balance adds a debossed protective zipped lace guard on the tongue, and continues the rugged utilitarian aesthetic with a full-body covering of weather-resistant GORE-TEX fabrication.
New Balance’s minimalist-meets-militant offering features a C-CAP sole unit that incorporates a full-length ABZORB midsole, which comes together to offer optimal shock absorption, and is finished with a PU insert for comfortable strides.
