The Nail Challenge Collaborative Does Winter: Snowflakes

I mentioned in my New Years Resolution post that I was going to be adding in some more nail art posts to my blog this year, and one of those ways was to join in with some more challenges.  Well I was on Facebook and I stumbled across a new group (I should point out that I am not sure if this group is new but it's new to me) and thought why not join in?  It's a new theme each month, with no real commitment of having to post on set days.  Just post a minimum of two manis per month.  Sounds really simple and I think it will give me a good balance between the other challenges I am planning on doing plus allows time for the non nail art posts as well.  Does that makes sense?  It makes sense in my planner at least.

For the month of January the theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative is Winter.  Now as you may be aware, I live in Australia and we are currently in Summer now Winter (so prepare for some sort of neon mani at some point lol).  Currently I am wearing Ugg boots because Melbourne has flicked on the Winter switch again. Poor Melbourne is very confused at the moment.  We go from temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius to 38 degrees Celsius.  Truly mental, and really makes the difference in temperatures feel extreme.

Getting completely side tracked there.  Sorry.  For my first winter mani I did a gradient using OPI Ogre-The-Top Blue, No Room For The Blues and I Believe In Manicures.  For my accent nail I used OPI's It's Frosty Outside.  Stamping polish is Powder Perfect's Silver Stamping Polish and stamping design is from Lina Nail Art Supplies 4 Seasons - Winter 01 plate.

I don't really know who is participating in this challenge but I am excited to see who and what they come up with for this theme.  Are you joining in?
